Trends for 2013

Ok peeps, I could not make up my mind if I should post about my cooking talents or my awesome paintings :p, I decided to go with a fashion post instead. I hope you enjoy it.

I subscribe to a lot of fashion and beauty sites (along with a singing course site!) so I came across this article about the upcoming trends for 2013 for girls on www.ivillage.com which are totally wearable. Let me explain a little about each of them.
1. Crimped hair is coming back this season.
2. Rich global prints with intricate patchwork jacket is super cool and makes you globetrotter trendy.
3.2013 is all about candy-colored rainbow hair, you could wear the trend with washable hair color.
 4. Artfully placed cutouts are perfect peekaboo pieces like this sapphire dress to flash a hint of skin while maintaining modesty.
5. Denims never go out of style, this year it can be worn on almost anything, skirts, shorts and button down shirts.
6.Stripes are huge this season and the more unexpected the item, the better like this schoolboy blazer.
7. Go green! the beautiful shade of this color, emerald is the color of the season!
8. French manicured and au naturale fingernails are back in a big way.
9.Ankle strap shoes are also in, try it with thinner straps if your ankles aren't exactly needle thin.
10.Bold shapes on black and white with shades of grey will infiltrate your closet this year.

 Peach Woolen Coat
I love all of these but I do not usually follow trends, I think it is important to have a style of your own and make sure that a particular trend suits you before trying it out. I love timeless, classic fashion, the 60's silhouettes and wish I could afford Haute Couture fashion. I am petite and so never wear flats, I have owned just one pair of Converse All Star shoes my whole life. I also don't own any  UGG classic boots as they are too bulky for me. Although I am wishing to own one of the UGG felicity boots range. You will never catch me wearing camouflage anything, I believe I lack the required masculinity to pull it off.
